Executive Director

Brian F. Poole, Ed. D.

Brian has a bachelor's degree in psychology from McKendree College and a master's degree in special education and psychology from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. He earned his doctorate in special education from St. Louis University in 1977 and moved to North Little Rock as the Executive Director of North Hills Services, Inc., the following year. His primary duties include managing programs, staffing, budget and development for this community-based facility. Brian has been married for 43 years, has one daughter and one grandson.

Adult Services Program Director

Dean Faitz

Dean joined North Hills in 1979, four years after earning his bachelor's and master's degrees from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. From 1975-79, Dean worked as a juvenile officer with St. Louis County Juvenile Court. Along with managing the program and staff, Dean helps to secure job contracts for adult clients in our Work Activity Center. Working on these various jobs helps our clients become more independent and self-sustaining in every day life. He has been married for 38 years and has one son.

Lois Carroll

Lois Carroll, our Program Director is also a Certified Teacher here at North Hills. She has a bachelor's degree in early childhood special education and has worked directly in the classroom for 25 years. Lois has been employed at North Hills for 40 years. She has been our program director for 5 years. Lois is married, has three children and is the proud grandmother of six grandchildren.
